Using living phytoplankton and different sizes of clear acrylic tubes, I created a living chandelier for the gallery space. This piece was produced as a prototype for the much larger Algae Chandelier displayed at the Exploratorium 2013-2015.
This artwork was created for the OPENwater installation in Alameda, CA in November 2010. OPENwater was produced by OPENrestaurant.
